FANZONES

During the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, several fanzones are located around Suzuka Circuit where visitors can enjoy entertainment, food, merchandise and interactive Formula 1 activities. The three main areas are the GP Square Fanzone, West Fanzone, and the Ferris Wheel Fanzone.

GP Square Fanzone

The GP Square Fanzone is the main hub of fan activity during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend.

This area features the official F1 stage, where fans can see appearances from Formula 1 drivers and team personnel. In addition, various companies host promotional booths and the official merchandise shop is located here, offering a wide selection of F1 and team products.

Visitors will also find numerous food and drink stalls, making the area lively even outside the track sessions. Throughout the day, the stage hosts talk shows, entertainment programmes and performances by artists, ensuring there is always something happening.

There are also several photo spots, including a podium stage and the Driver Selfie area. For the event, the F1 activation zone already opens on Thursday, allowing fans to experience Formula 1 activities before the race weekend officially begins. The stage programme includes live performances, entertainment shows and traditional ninja performances, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the day. As the main entertainment hub in the western part of the circuit, this zone offers a great base for fans spending time in this area.

Ferris Wheel Fanzone

A new fanzone has been introduced near the famous Suzuka Circuit Wheel (Ferris wheel).

This area offers several attractions including shops selling official F1 merchandise as well as Suzuka Circuit original goods. Fans can also see the Formula 1 World Championship trophy, the 2026 F1 show car, and the popular Drivers Panel photo spot, which returns every year.

The Ferris Wheel Fanzone is a good alternative for visitors who want to avoid the larger crowds at GP Square or prefer a location closer to the final sector of the circuit.

Extra tips for the weekend in Suzuka

Take advantage of "Free Friday"
If you have a grandstand ticket and a full weekend pass, you can watch the free practice sessions on Friday from any grandstand that is currently free (the event does not apply to grandstand V2 along the finish straight only). As part of the so-called Free Friday, you can watch the action on the track from different stands without having to pay anything extra.

Enjoy the Ferris wheel
One of Suzuka's landmarks is the Ferris wheel, which you can even ride for free with a three-day ticket. The observation wheel is located behind the finishing straight and we recommend going to it on the Thursday before the race, when it is not so crowded and there are no long queues.
